What Will Your Main Responsibilities Be • Supports deploying of UL Quality strategy, governance and goals through specific Quality projects and targets • Supports building of Quality talent & change mindset through trainings. • Ensuring core technology design for equipment and infrastructure, process changes and specifications meet local regulatory requirements and product quality needs (including cleanability, specification localization, etc.) • Participates in / supports HACCP workshops and activities to ensure HACCP plans for the site are designed and operated to assure product safety • Supports ensuring compliance to product technology GMP requirements. • Participates in Quality Pillar for the Category GVS network sites gaining the experience & sharing the best practices in the factory. • Supports efforts to ensure that Quality processes for IPM Functional Excellence are implemented for all innovations • Participates in Early Management actions for product and equipment regarding quality requirements for innovation projects • Participate in / supports (depends on project) Quality risk assessments for innovations • Supports changes to existing and new materials suppliers through activities that assure quality / hygienic control processes are in place and operating effectively, e.g. follow up on audit action plans • Supports ensuring that quality / hygiene control plans are established for production site changes or production capacity increases • Supports Quality Management System deployment and continuous improvement through support to WCM Quality Pillar as Pillar Leader and to/from Virtual Sites • Supports resolving consumer/ customer product and package complaints and CRQS issues through analysis of care-line and CRQS audit information to identify improvements Key Experiences & Qualifications WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED • Minimum of 5 Years of Experience. • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Production, Chemical) • FMCG experience is preferred • Experience in Manufacturing, especially within category. • Strong leadership and people management skills • Communications skills internal & external. • Analytical skills • Managing & Leading Change Unilever embraces diversity and encourages applicants from all walks of life! International Supplier Management: Identify and select international suppliers of industrial equipment. Ensure technical and commercial exchanges with suppliers. Organize follow-up meetings (in person and remotely). Develop lasting relationships with foreign partners. Equipment Procurement Management: Participate in the development of specifications (URS) with the technical teams. Launch international tenders. Compare technical and financial offers. Participate in commercial and contractual negotiations. Prepare supplier selection recommendations. Project Monitoring: Ensure the monitoring of equipment manufacturing. Monitor compliance with the contractual schedule. Track progress with suppliers. Participate in Design Reviews. Organize and monitor Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT). Monitor Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) until final acceptance. Document Management: Verify the conformity of supplier documents: Ensure document archiving. Logistics Coordination: Track international shipments. Coordinate with the procurement department. Ensure customs clearance operations are followed up. Coordinate deliveries with internal teams. Internal Coordination: Collaborate with: Production, Maintenance, Quality Assurance, Qualification & Validation, Engineering, Procurement, Finance, General Management. Contract Management: Ensure compliance with contractual obligations. Monitor warranties. Manage supplier claims. Implement contractual penalties when necessary. Monitor contract amendments. Technology Watch: Identify new equipment manufacturers. Participate in international trade shows. Monitor new technologies and regulatory developments.Desired Candidate ProfileMaster's degree (Bac+5) in Industrial Engineering, Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, International Business, Purchasing or equivalent. Experience in a similar position.
