Job Summary: The TFA, having completed all the competencies, will contribute to the management of site activities including planning, organizing, integrating, and monitoring of resources such as labor, tools and technical assistants as required to complete the work scope according to contractual requirements. This is a hands-on, client-facing role with an opportunity for upward career mobility. </p><br><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><br><ul><li>Lead and perform structural design and analysis for multiple data center buildings, including hyperscale and colocation type facilities.</li><li>Develop design documentation for tilt-up concrete panels, precast structures, steel framing systems, and deep and shallow foundations.</li><li>Coordinate design deliverables with architectural, civil, MEP, and construction teams to ensure alignment with project objectives and client standards.</li><li>Oversee preparation of construction documents, specifications, and calculations, ensuring quality, code compliance, and technical excellence.</li><li>Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers and designers.</li><li>Engage with clients, contractors, and review authorities to address technical queries and design clarifications.</li><li>Support business development, proposal writing, and conceptual structural design for new pursuits.</li><li>Travel, as needed, for project-related activities such as client meetings and site visits.</li></ul><br>Qualifications<br><p><strong>Minimum Qualifications:</strong></p><br><ul><li>Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant professional experience in building structures design and analysis or demonstrated equivalency of experience and or education in Structural or Civil Engineering.</li><li>Licensed U.S. Professional Engineer (PE or SE).</li><li>Experience specifically in data center, mission critical, or large scale logistics/industrial facilities.</li><li>Experience with BIM ACC (Revit), ETABS, RISA, RAM, SAP2000, Safe, etc.</li><li>Experience with precast concrete systems, steel design, seismic design, and foundation systems.</li><li>Demonstrated experience with low embodied carbon materials and sustainable structural design approaches.</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p><br><ul><li>3+ years of experience with data center facilities and familiarity of data center specific design standards and structural resiliency requirements.</li><li>LEED, Envision, or active leader in SE 2050 implementation.</li><li>Expertise in low embodied carbon materials, sustainable structural systems, and emerging industry best practices</li><li>Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership skills.</li><li>Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary and geographically diverse teams.</li><li>Ability to interpret and apply national and local building codes.</li></ul><br>Additional Information<br><ul><li>Relocation is not available for this role</li><li>Sponsorship is not available for this role</li><li><strong>THIS POSTING IS FOR A CURRENT VACANCY, AND AECOM INTENDS TO FILL THIS POSITION BY NOVEMBER 9, 2026.</strong></li></ul><p>At AECOM, we are committed to maintaining a secure and trustworthy recruitment process and take any fraudulent hiring activity seriously. <strong><em>To support this commitment, all newly hired employees are required to attend an in-person Day 1 onboarding at an AECOM office location as a condition of employment.</em></strong></p><br><p><strong>About AECOM</strong> </p><br><p>AECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
