Dans le cadre de son mandat, le PNUD contribue aux efforts des pays dans le renforcement de leurs capacités de résilience face aux effets du changement climatique et à la gestion durable des ressources naturelles.</p><br> <p>Afin de concrétiser et de renforcer son engagement en faveur de la conservation et de la gestion durable des forêts algériennes, le PNUD met en œuvre une initiative en partenariat avec la Direction Générale des Forêts (DGF) et le soutien du Fonds pour l’Environnement Mondial (GEF), visant à promouvoir la restauration et la gestion forestière durable de l’écosystème de Pin d’Alep en Algérie. L’écosystème de Pin d’Alep, qui s’étend sur plus d’un million d’hectares dans les Hauts Plateaux, est soumis à des pressions croissantes liées à la dégradation des terres, aux effets du changement climatique (sécheresse, incendies, attaques parasitaires) et aux activités anthropiques non durables. Face à cette situation, le PNUD Algérie soutient la Direction Générale des Forêts afin de mettre en œuvre une série d’actions visant à restaurer les paysages forestiers dégradés, renforcer les capacités de gestion durable des forêts et contribuer au développement des économies locales dans les wilayas ciblées.</p><br> <p>À la lumière de ce qui précède, le bureau du PNUD à Alger prévoit de recruter un(e) Associé(e) au projet afin d’appuyer l’exécution et la mise en œuvre de l’initiative « Restauration et Gestion Forestière Durable de l’Écosystème de Pin d’Alep en Algérie ». Le/la titulaire travaillera en étroite collaboration avec l’équipe du programme Nature, Climat et Énergie, le/la Coordonnateur/trice national(e) du projet et la Direction Générale des Forêts. Des déplacements fréquents dans les wilayas d’intervention sont à prévoir.</p><br> <p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities</strong></p><br> <p>l’Associé (e) au projet travaillera en étroite collaboration avec le Coordonnateur/trice national/e de projet et le personnel du PNUD, le Directeur National du Projet, sous la supervision Directe du Directeur National du projet et du chef d'équipe du portefeuille Nature, climat et énergie du PNUD. </p><br> <ol> <li><span>Bas du formulaire</span></li> </ol> <p><strong>Axe I – Appuyer la gestion du projet et la réalisation des activités inscrites au plan de travail, notamment pour l’atteinte des résultats suivants :</strong></p><br> <ul> <li><span>Contribuer à l’élaboration des plans de travail annuels et sous-plans pertinents, notamment le plan d’approvisionnement ;</span></li> <li><span>Assister l’UGP dans la préparation du budget annuel et vérifier le respect des règles financières et procédures de dépenses du PNUD et du GEF;</span></li> <li><span>Assurer le suivi global des dépenses du projet au travers d’outils de gestion financière et tenir une matrice des dépenses actualisée sur toutes les activités du projet ;</span></li> <li><span>Préparer les révisions budgétaires et les ajustements financiers ;</span></li> <li><span>Appuyer la préparation de la correspondance du projet et la préparation des comptes-rendus de réunions, rapports d’activités et autres documents du projet ;</span></li> </ul> <p><strong>Axe II – Fournir des services d’appui administratif et logistique efficaces, notamment pour l’atteinte des résultats suivants :</strong></p><br> <ul> <li><span>Examiner les dépenses du projet et veiller à ce que les fonds soient utilisés conformément au document de projet et aux règles du Gouvernement ;</span></li> <li><span>Apporter un appui dans le cadre de l’organisation et la gestion courante du projet (organisation de réunions ; atelier, séminaire, assurer l'envoi, la réception et la distribution de divers courriers dans les temps, etc.) ;</span></li> <li><span>Maintenir un système d’archivage des dossiers efficace et à jour, tenant compte notamment des exigences de confidentialité pour les documents financiers, et préparer la documentation à fournir en cas d’audit financier ;</span></li> <li><span>Appuyer la coordination administrative et logistique des événements organisés dans le cadre du projet (ateliers, séminaires, etc.), notamment la préparation de l’agenda et des supports à distribuer (présentations, documentations, etc.) ;</span></li> <li><span>Appuyer la gestion des contrats en cours pour les prestataires individuels (consultants) et les prestataires professionnels (entreprises), et veiller au respect des dates et échéances pour la réception des biens/services/livrables ;</span></li> <li><span>Répondre aux demandes d’informations pour le projet, et faciliter l’organisation de réunions de coordination ou de séances travail avec les parties prenantes ;</span></li> <li><span>Compiler et/ou appuyer la préparation des documents de briefing, supports de présentation, discours, documents de mission, etc ;</span></li> <li><span>Vérifier et tenir à jour les données pertinentes utilisées par le projet, dont une base de données contenant les coordonnées des parties prenantes clefs ;</span></li> <li><span>Préparer les réquisitions de fonds (en ligne) à l’attention du Chargé de projet et faciliter les processus d’approbation du partenaire national des dépenses du projet, en préparant les demandes de service et les plans de travail pour signature ;</span></li> <li><span>En coordination avec le service des voyages du PNUD, effectuer les réservations de déplacement et d’hébergement pour le compte du projet, vérifier les exigences de santé et de sécurité pour les destinations, et faciliter la préparation des autorisations de voyage, et des remboursements pour les frais excédentaires, des demandes de visa, etc.</span></li> <li><span>S’assurer que tous les dossiers de paiement sont complets et conformes avant de les soumettre à l’unité des finances du PNUD ;</span></li> <li><span>Assurer la réception des biens et des services, en veillant à obtenir une validation technique des produits/livrables au besoin ;</span></li> <li><span>Fournir les informations financières requises lors des audits du projet ; Veiller au respect des échéanciers et des engagements du projet, en effectuant des suivis réguliers auprès de l’UGP, de la DGF, du PNUD et des fournisseurs au besoin ;</span></li> <li><span>Soutenir les experts du projet lors de la mise en œuvre et le suivi des activités conjointes sur site avec les parties prenantes locales ;</span></li> <li><span>Préparer les contributions aux rapports et compiler les rapports de projet conformément au document de projet (y compris les rapports financiers si nécessaire) ;</span></li> <li><span>Rédiger des correspondances, notes, mémos et autres types de documents au besoin</span></li> <li><span>Aider à la sélection des experts du projet et des consultants et participer au processus de sélection si nécessaire ;</span></li> <li><span>Préparer les TdR, spécifications techniques, RFP / RFQ, devis quantitatifs ;</span></li> <li><span>Aider à l'évaluation des offres compiler et préparer la documentation (rapport d'ouverture des offres, rapports d'évaluation et de sélection).</span></li> </ul> <p><strong>Axe III – Appuyer l’unité des achats, au besoin, et la gestion des actifs selon les règles et procédures du PNUD, notamment pour l’atteinte des résultats suivants :</strong></p><br> <ul> <li><span>Effectuer la prospection des fournisseurs et toute autre tâche d’appui et de suivi pour tous les achats du projet ;</span></li> <li><span>Appuyer la budgétisation des activités d’approvisionnement et appuyer la préparation des termes de référence ou cahiers de charge, au besoin ;</span></li> </ul> <p><strong>Axe IV – Appuyer le partage des connaissances et des meilleures pratiques dans le Bureau pays, notamment pour l’atteinte des résultats suivants :</strong></p><br> <ul> <li><span>Favoriser la circulation de l’information et le maintien de rapports cordiaux avec le partenaire national, l’UGP et les différentes unités du PNUD ;</span></li> <li><span>Partager les meilleures pratiques de gestion ou les leçons apprises dans le cadre du projet ou de ses activités.</span></li> </ul> <p>Le titulaire du poste accomplit d'autres tâches relevant de son profil fonctionnel, jugées nécessaires au bon fonctionnement du Bureau et de l'Organisation.</p><br> <p><span><strong> 4. Review Production sheet to understand variety of baked goods to be produced daily. Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality and presentation standards, and food prep checklists. Maintain kitchen logs for food safety program compliance. Keep Chef informed of excess food items for planning of daily specials. <span><br>JOB SUMMARY<br>Areas of responsibility include Restaurants/Bars and Room Service, if applicable. Assists in the daily supervision restaurant operations and assists with menu planning, maintains sanitation standards and assists servers and hosts on the floor during peak meal periods. Strives to continually improve guest and employee satisfaction. Determines training needed to accomplish goals, then implements plan.<br>CANDIDATE PROFILE <br>Education and Experience<br>• High school diploma or GED; 4 years experience in the food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area.<br>OR<br>• 2-year degree from an accredited university in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major; 2 years experience in the food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area.<br>CORE WORK ACTIVITIES<br>Assisting in Management of Restaurant Team<br>• Handles employee questions and concerns.<br>• Monitors employees to ensure performance expectations are met.<br>• Provides feedback to employees based on observation of service behaviors.<br>• Assists in supervising daily shift operations.<br>• Supervises restaurant and all related areas in the absence of the Director of Restaurants or Restaurant Manager.<br>• Participates in department meetings by communicating a clear and consistent message regarding the departmental goals to produce desired results.<br>Conducting Day-to-Day Restaurant Operations<br>• Ensures all employees have proper supplies, equipment and uniforms.<br>• Communicates to Chef and Restaurant Manager any issues regarding food quality and service levels.<br>• Ensures compliance with all restaurant policies, standards and procedures.<br>• Monitors alcohol beverage service in compliance with local laws.<br>• Manages to achieve or exceed budgeted goals.<br>• Performs all duties of restaurant employees and related departments as necessary.<br>• Opens and closes restaurant shifts.<br>Providing Exceptional Customer Service<br>• Interacts with guests to obtain feedback on product quality and service levels.<br>• Supervises staffing levels to ensure that guest service, operational needs and financial objectives are met.<br>• Encourages employees to provide excellent customer service within guidelines.<br>• Handles guest problems and complaints, seeking assistance from supervisor as necessary.<br>• Strives to improve service performance.<br>• Sets a positive example for guest relations.<br>• Assists in the review of comment cards and guest satisfaction results with employees.<br>• Meets and greets guests.<br>Conducting Human Resource Activities<br>• Supervises on-going training initiatives.<br>• Uses all available on the job training tools for employees.<br>• Communicates performance expectations in accordance with job descriptions for each position.<br>• Coaches and counsels employees regarding performance on an on-going basis.<br>Additional Responsibilities<br>• Provides information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person.<br>• Analyzes information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems.<br>• Assists servers and hosts on the floor during meal periods and high demand times.<br>• Recognizes good quality products and presentations.<br>• Supervises daily shift operations in absence of Restaurant Manager.<br>At Marriott International, we are dedicated to being an equal opportunity employer, welcoming all and providing access to opportunity.
