We are looking to hire a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Food Safety & Quality Specialist . In this role, you will play a critical part in upholding our commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene across all aspects of our operations.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
FSMS Verification

You will be performing audits following the internal food safety and quality system and issues documented reports to improve performance. Reports results to the Food & Quality Manager

You will be conducting Supplier visits and reports
-
You will be validating and verifying all procedures
HACCP Monitoring & implementation
-
You will be monitoring HACCP system, reviewing flow charts, products descriptions & hazards analysis for all produced and menu items

You will be ensuring maintenance of the Hazard Plan
Lab Sampling and Results Collection

You will be scheduling Lab sampling activities as per the FSMS procedures’ requirements

You will be collecting samples from operations and production entities
Training preparation and execution

You will be conducting Food Safety and Quality training sessions
-
You will be ensuring maintenance of the training material as per requirements
Food defense and food fraud committee member
-
You will be reviewing the food defense and food fraud plan, and coordinating with the FSTL regarding any needed updates or changes
WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE:

Minimum 5 years of experience in the Food & Beverage field and Food Service management

Masters degree in food science and technology, food engineering, or nutrition field

Strong project management skills
-
Knowledge of local and international food safety regulations, and quality standards

Willingness to travel to franchise countries when needed

Knowledge of ISO 22:000, HACCP, and FSSC 22000 standards

English and Arabic, French is a plus
-
Computer literacy is a must
