Job Brief
Responsible for performing all corrective and preventive maintenance activities of electromechanical elements across Umniah’s data centers such as repairing, auditing , supervision of maintenance contracts , projects inside data center , and fault finding to prevent any potential failures and ensure network availability, while adhering to health and safety measures.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure that all team members are always adhering to health and safety measures to prevent any potential hazards or injuries
- Conduct various corrective maintenance visits for electromechanical elements across Umniah’s data centers, such as repairing and fault finding on electromechanical elements to ensure network availability
- Conduct preventative maintenance visits for electromechanical elements across Umniah’s data centers to prevent any potential failures
- Conduct periodic follow-ups on electromechanical elements operational requirements such as fuel filling, genset filters replacement, oil change, air conditioners maintenance, UPS and DC systems batteries replacement to ensure a high performance level
- Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance activities for DC systems, UPS’s, generators, air conditioning systems, firefighting systems and EMS’s to ensure that it is always ready for any emergency situation
- Cooperate with external stakeholders (contractors and vendors) and support them to perform their scheduled maintenance activities across Umniah’s data centers
- Submit all electromechanical elements maintenance activities updates through internal monitoring software to ensure proper documentation
- Report on any possible hazards in data centers
- Conduct a frequent data center visual checks by filling the agreed check list and report the findings
- Conduct all scheduled and frequent relevant tests such as battery test and failover test
- Ensure adhering to health and safety measures while conducting maintenance activities in order to prevent any potential hazards or injuries
- cables ,CB, panels installation and loads calculation, supervision, verification, handover of the work carried out in the data center sites.
