Core Accountabilities:

• Understand the interpret business requirements and formulate a context for solutions, choose appropriate technology, and configuration design.
• Conduct client enterprise architecture assessment and ensure that the business strategy are aligned.
• Development of the company’s technology and cloud migration strategies.
• Define the architecture compatibility towards systems and applications and identify areas of improvement to the enterprise technology architecture.
• Analyze the current applications and business technologies used across the organization and it’s entities and identify opportunities for consolidation and/or elimination to increase synergies, cost-efficiencies, and reliability of business information.
• Works closely with other solution architects, enterprise architecture, and technical domain experts to influence the architectural direction whilst ensuring compliance with the architectural governance process.
• Monitor the enterprise business architecture performance and provide the required technical support to diagnose and resolve architecture problems.
• Interact and work with relevant functional teams to ensure that business requirements are aligned with Digital and IT strategy.
• The design and development of Enterprise Target Architecture across all domains and verticals in the context of Business & IT strategies.
• The development of the company’s Architecture Policies, Principles and EA standards & patterns to guide decisions and solution architectures.
• Define, review and manage: Roadmaps and migration plans to achieve architecture vision.
• Develop and document in-depth knowledge of company’s existing IT architecture, IT infrastructure and technology portfolio producing architecture diagrams, blueprints, roadmaps.
• Conduct research on emerging technologies, document and provide independent assessment and recommendations to benefit the company.
• Identify and lead internal strategic initiatives to improve application and infrastructure architecture and retire redundant applications.

Skills

• Minimum of 4 years of analysis experience in enterprise architecture and/or at least 3 or more of the following disciplines: programming, data sourcing, enterprise data management, modelling, auditing and compliance, infrastructure development and maintenance, application development and deployment, system architecture, IoT, and enterprise solutions
• Experience in UAE or Middle East is desirable

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related discipline
• One or more of the following certifications is a plus: ITIL Master, TOGAF 9

Key Skills

• Knowledge in TOGAF, & Zachman architecture frameworks
• Knowledge in every aspect of a complete project
• Proficiency in English language, Arabic a plus
• Ability to balance strategic and tactical demands, and effectively deal with pressure situations
