About us

Heenat Salma is an eco-farm and resort, seeking an experienced Hospitality Manager with the dynamism and passion required to manage and popularize our unique guest experience. Rooted in the ideas of sustainability, and preservation of the local environment, Heenat Salma comprises of lodges, a farm to table restaurant, and the provision of a range of activities from harvesting to meditative practices. The candidate is expected to build occupancy and bring in guests seeking an escape from the burdens of urban life.


Responsibilities

  • with the hospitality team in optimizing the guest experience
  • with other departmental units, including F&B and Wellness, to maximize service offering
  • external relationships and partnerships, and promote Heenat Salma to a wider audience
  • and coordinate operations through working closely with operational departments
  • supervise and evaluate staff
  • customer complaints when necessary and proactively find long term solutions
  • in pricing products or services through market research
  • responsibility of budgeting and monitoring expenses
  • adherence to regulations and quality standards
  • all records are kept properly and consistently
  • and prepare reports for senior management

Requirements and skills

  • experience in Hospitality and F & B industry
  • experience in customer service
  • understanding of hospitality & F & B procedures and best practices
  • Knowledge of quality standards (e.g. ISO)
  • organizational and leadership skills
  • communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
  • Problem solving aptitude
  • Arabic is a plus
  • in Hospitality management is preferred
  • preference for candidates with experience of working at an eco-lodge or eco resort.

Experience

  • At least 8 years’ experience working in sustainable & organic service sector with Hospitality and F&B sector
  • Supervising/managing a team including conducting appraisals, setting individual KPI’s, managing holiday and roaster and managing performance.
  • flexible attitude towards work and able to cover all shifts Monday-Sunday filling in gaps where required.
