Finance Administrator

Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Finance Administrator with expertise in procurement processes. The successful candidate will play a critical role in managing purchasing activities, ensuring efficient and cost-effective procurement, and maintaining accurate financial records. This role requires a balance of financial insight, organizational skills, and strategic thinking to support our organization's operational goals.


Key Responsibilities:

Procurement Management:

  • Oversee the end-to-end procurement process, including vendor selection, negotiation, and contract management.
  • Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies and external regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct market research to identify cost-saving opportunities and evaluate suppliers.
  • Develop and maintain supplier relationships to ensure quality and timely delivery of goods and services.

Financial Coordination:

  • Process purchase orders, invoices, and payments accurately and promptly.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to reconcile procurement expenses and prepare financial reports.
  • Monitor budgets related to procurement and identify potential overspending or savings.
  • Data Management and Reporting:
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and financial transactions.
  • Generate regular reports on procurement activities, including cost analysis and supplier performance.
  • Policy and Compliance:
  • Develop and update procurement policies and procedures to align with organizational goals.
  • Ensure ethical procurement practices and maintain a high level of transparency in all dealings.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Trustworthiness, a strong work ethos, and a low rate of absences.
  • Willingness to work as part of a team.
  • Valid driving Licence.
  • Availability of a car.
