Batch 1 HSE Lead for one of our clients with the following details:
Location: Qatar AND Korea
Start Date: AUG 2024
End Date: JUL 2026
Work Status: Resident, Single
Qualification And Experience Required
- Master Graduation or equivalent in HSE, Risk Assessment, environment or similar disciplines
- Certifications: H2S OPITO and T-BOSIET trainings are a plus,
- Large experience on similar activities at equivalent position, work in Office to issue documentation, standards, plans, etc.
- Previous experience in Team managing, reporting consolidation, support function,
- Familiar with Major oil and gas standards and best practices,
- Onshore construction experience is mandatory
- Professional Experience (number of years) : 15 years (10 years in projects)
- Strong experience in Asian Construction Yard
- Fluency in English mandatory.
- Conversant with usual business suites (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access databases).

Activities
Safety Culture
- Promote Incident Free safety culture program and participate actively in all HSE campaigns launched by COMPANY and MP.
Preparation
- Participate to Packages Meeting when required,
- Provide support to Packages and MP Construction HSE Lead in Pre-qualification and Call for Tender (CFT) process,
- Review Pre-Qualification Dossier and reply to Technical Clarifications from bidders,
- Organize and assist in HSE audit for qualification or baseline and follow-up if required,
- Participate to HSE team recruitment and anticipate needs of resources,
- Provide support to COMPANY HSE Coordinator in the deployment of COMPANY HSE plan at CONTRACTOR yard location (Emergency Response, Incident Reporting, HSE KPI reporting, etc),
- Provide support and participate when required to Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment with CONTRACTORS,
- Assist MP Construction HSE Lead in the preparation of Onshore construction, provide support to CONTRACTORS to ensure all necessary trainings, documents, certifications, etc are ready on time for the operation,
- Ensure that proper readiness process is in place to complete the MP HSE Plan implementation on different packages.
Execution
- Provide support and guidance to HSE Superintendent to ensure proper application of COMPANY Standards, Guidelines and use of approved Templates (HSE Inspections, Dashboard for reporting, etc),
- Ensure CONTRACTOR HSE Procedure and documents are issued on time and in line with COMPANY standards,
- Organize and assist on HSE committees with EPC contractors and support preparation of the MP HSEQ Management Review as required,
- Provide Guidance to CONTRACTORS on Contract requirements and COMPANY standards,
- Review and comment CONTRACTORS documents on MANASA,
- Consolidate HSE reporting from Sites/Packages and report to MP Construction HSE Lead,
- Steer when necessary with CONTRACTORS to ensure compliance to HSE Objectives,
- Participate when required to Incident investigation with CONTRACTOR,
- Monitor the implementation of actions following analysis of accidents, incidents, audits and inspections,
- Compile lessons learnt and issue SFN when necessary,
- Ensure that relevant feedback from previous similar projects are considered during project works performance,
- Providing HSE advice to the Company Site Representative at construction yard during fabrication phase,
- Ensure that HSE manuals and plans are in accordance with contractual and COMPANY requirements,
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the hierarchy.
