We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Techno-Commercial Sales Manager to drive sales and develop business opportunities within the chemical industry. The Techno-Commercial Sales Manager will be responsible for understanding customer requirements, providing technical solutions, and managing the sales process from lead generation to closing deals. The ideal candidate should possess a strong technical background in chemistry, coupled with excellent sales and negotiation skills.

Business Development
Identify and develop new business opportunities within the assigned market segment, focusing on achieving sales targets and revenue growth.
Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential customers, industry trends, and competitive insights.
Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline through proactive lead generation, networking, and attending industry events.
Technical Sales
Understand customer requirements, technical specifications, and industry challenges to provide appropriate chemical solutions.
Conduct product presentations and demonstrations, showcasing the value and benefits of our chemical products to potential customers.
Collaborate with internal technical teams to develop customized solutions that meet customer needs.
Relationship Management
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key customers, understanding their business objectives and providing exceptional customer service.
Serve as a trusted advisor to customers, providing technical expertise, product knowledge, and guidance throughout the sales process.
Address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and manage customer expectations effectively.
Sales Strategy And Execution
Develop and implement effective sales strategies and tactics to achieve sales targets and penetrate new markets.
Prepare and deliver persuasive sales proposals, presentations, and quotations tailored to customer requirements.
Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing agreements in collaboration with the sales and legal teams.
Market Intelligence And Reporting
Monitor market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and potential threats.
Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and market insights to the management team.
Continuously update knowledge of industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory requirements related to the chemical industry.
Requirements
What do we expect? You...
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
- 10+ years of experience in technical sales within the chemical/oil & gas industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of chemical products and their applications.
- Excellent sales, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to understand and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to develop and execute sales plans.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites and industry events as required.
