Role Purpose


The Onsite Graphic Designer is responsible for designing and specifying design parameters to assist in the websites, application and social media platform enhancement and maintenance. The role holder is also responsible for supporting online graphic design, flash animation, usage of HTML and online creative requirements.


Role Details – Key Responsibilities And Accountabilities


Graphic Design


  • Conceptualize, design and produce promotional materials to provide the website, application and social media platforms with necessary visual communications requirements for materials they need to produce
  • Develop graphic design in order to integrate it onto the various advertising mediums
  • Develop concepts, graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logos and website
  • Determining size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy, and font style and size


Design Guidelines


  • Create designs, concepts and sample layouts based on knowledge of layout principles and aesthetic
  • Take full accountability in adhering to artwork specifications as per suppliers’ guidelines
  • Supervise all advertising and digital campaigns, news related to competitor to keep abreast of any developments to act accordingly
  • Follow all relevant operational procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner


Collaboration


  • Liaise with CORP Onsite Marketing and Creative team/ Graphic design team on central campaigns, implementing best practices, new product features and campaign optimization.


Human Capital Responsibilities


  • Proactively identify and seek professional development opportunities to improve leadership and technical skills pertaining to the direct line of work.
  • Apply and follow MAFR’s Human Capital corporate policies and relevant procedures and instructions.
  • Provide feedback to colleagues, when required.


Financial Responsibilities


  • Monitor allocated budget to ensure compliance and take corrective measures when necessary.
  • Provide inputs on the development of annual budget.
  • Develop necessary measures towards continuous reduction of the operational cost.
  • Provide inputs while developing MAF Retail’s corporate policies and relevant procedures, and monitor the implementation.


Qualification, Experience & Skills


Minimum Qualifications/education


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or closely related field


Minimum Experience


  • 2+ years' experience as a social media analyst, preferably in the retail industry
