You will, under direct or close supervision, support the delivery of ocean freight forwarding processes and activities for internal and external customers. You will perform assigned tasks of a generally repetitive nature to support other team members, such as gathering operational requirements, arranging customer visits, and responding to tariff queries. You will undertake routine tasks, including research, data processing and validation, and documentation. You will, under guidance, gather input for the freight control center, as well as details, information, and instructions for the operations team. You will perform tasks to support the determination of freight rates on incoming and outgoing materials and products. You will gather and provide information for customer visits to maintain close business relationships with existing clients and enhance customer retention. You will record information and data for shipping tenders. You will enter data, share information, and support shipment documentation for freight forwarding. You will collate data and draft reports and updates on account performances to support other team members. You will follow defined processes, systems, and methods for the delivery of assigned tasks. You will check for recurring routine issues faced during delivery; if necessary, you will escalate to a supervisor for input and guidance.
