About you and this role
Dow is looking for a Senior Sales Specialist responsible for sales and customer management for our Polyurethane Systems business in Maghreb region & to be based in Algeria office.
You will manage the B2B sales as well as some basic technical discussion or troubleshooting in different markets, such as energy efficiency, automotive, industrial or consumer markets.
Your key objectives are to create customer value and satisfaction, grow the portfolio in alignment to the sales and marketing plan and develop new customers and market opportunities.
You will be accountable to maintain a high degree of knowledge on Polyurethane product lines along with understanding key markets in depth and acts as a resource to the business on competitive intelligence as well as maintain a consumption analysis on products purchased from polyurethane, Distributed Integrated System, and competition.
In line with our company’s mission to become of the most customer-centric materials science company worldwide, your role will be key to foster customer satisfaction, deliver business results, develop forecasts on anticipated customer product consumption, and create and work within budget guidelines for region. You will be responsible for business strategy implementation within assigned region and develop a sales plan for assigned territory and provide needed data to Sales & Operating Teams to efficiently manage the business. As the company’s goal is to continuously enhance our process, you will highly be involved in the continuous improvement in the area of overall productivity and efficiency along with effective management of sales terms and credit with assigned customers.

Responsibilities
- Achieve a high level of penetration at assigned customer base and to maintain strong relationships at all levels of customer organization
- Effectively utilize available tools such as strategic entertainment and management interface to build customer relationships in line with account plans and to develop strong multi-functional account teams to effectively interface with customers
- Utilize excellent sales skills to represent Dow to customers with effectively negotiate supply contracts and manage customer pricing strategically in line with business goals
- Deliver a high level of service to customers and effectively resolve any quality or service issues that arise. Work with customers to define un-met needs and develop sales projects around commercial and developmental opportunities
- Enter and track opportunities using the CRM
- Successfully convert opportunities leading to sales growth. Show agility & accelerate the company Digital transformation
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required, technical degree in Chemistry/Polymers or Chemical Engineering preferred.
- Fluency in French, English & Arabic
- Great written and verbal communication skills.
- Execute against all job requirements while maintaining very high level of safety awareness.
- knowledgeable on market trends and have a deep understanding of Dow’s technology.
- Collaborate with sales related functions to build good teamwork.
Your Skills
- 5 to 7 years of technical sales or sales related experience
- Demonstrated experience managing existing business (negotiation, price management, issue resolution)
- Track record of hunting for and converting sales opportunities a plus
- Demonstrate high levels of motivation and deliver outstanding sales results
