The Position

In this role, you will lead and drive the Compliance Programme in Algeria, ensuring the effective implementation of the Global/IO Business Ethics Compliance Plan in collaboration with key stakeholders. You will be responsible for maintaining high compliance standards, managing risks, and fostering a strong ethical culture within the affiliate. Your role will involve coordinating compliance activities, providing expert guidance, and ensuring alignment with global and regional compliance frameworks.

Your main accountabilities will include:

• Establish and uphold high standards for Business Ethics and Compliance policies within the affiliate.


• Oversee compliance activities, ensuring alignment with global, regional, and local requirements.


• Lead internal compliance projects, audits, and initiatives to drive continuous improvement.


• Provide expert advice, training, and support on compliance-related matters to local staff.


• Identify, assess, and manage key compliance risks, including handling and reporting internal investigations.

Qualifications

• Advanced Degree preferably in legal; Advanced degree in business, accounting/ controlling or healthcare field can be accepted if combined with relevant and proven compliance advisory experience.


• At least 5 years’ experience working closely with compliance and ethics matters, ideally within pharmaceutical industry.


• Knowledge on Local Regulation and local practices in the pharmaceutical industry or similar regulated sectors.


• High Quality Mindset and team spirit


• Good communication skills, and ability to establish cross organisational collaboration.


• Written and spoken fluency in English.
