Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate will be adept at providing both technical and commercial support, identifying and introducing new products, developing the portfolio in accordance with the market demand, our company policy and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and clients.
The candidate should have a significant tenure of 5-10 years in the field (Fertilizers and Seeds), marked by a deep understanding of the Fertilizer market, including sales, marketing, and after-sales service. This experience should be complemented by a track record of successful contract negotiations and a strong orientation towards customer service excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base.
- Lead and mentor the sales team, setting objectives, and monitoring performance to ensure maximum productivity and sales growth.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Maintain good relationships with suppliers, communicate on regular basis, and increase collaboration with strong performing suppliers.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and challenges, adjusting sales strategies accordingly.
- Meet or exceed the fertilizers monthly and annual sales targets across Algeria country territories.
- Develop, communicate, enforce, and monitor department processes in collaboration with country sales teams to guarantee customer satisfaction.
- Offer technical and commercial insights to aid company management in the identification, introduction, and positioning of fertilizers.
- Compile comprehensive supplier information, including brand specifics, configurations, specialties, market positions, strengths, and weaknesses.
- Work with company management to introduce new product types and enhance overall sales volume.
- Provide technical support to clients, ensuring effective communication and a high level of service.
- Coordinate with the company management to provide alternative solutions if required.
- Inform the company management by any update in the market, competitors’ news and products prices positioning.
- Coordinate with the company management for the required events, field days, demonstrations, and other activities.
- Consolidating and strengthening relationships with all distribution and sales channels.
- Follow up the stock of fertilizers and forbid any shortage.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Agronomy, Agricultural Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5-10 years of experience in the Fertilizer and Seeds industry, with a comprehensive understanding of market dynamics.
- Proven track record in sales, marketing, and after-sales service within the Fertilizer sector.
- Strong experience in contract negotiation and customer service excellence.
