Job Summary.

With safety, quality, efficiency and customer service as a priority the Logistics Coordinator within will be a critical part of the business. Using your/our logistics knowledge, you will facilitate the receiving, moving and shipping of supplies, stock, materials and products. Critically, you will manage the flow of orders requiring strong reliance on monitoring and co-ordination of delivery pickup and/or drop off schedules both manually and with computer programs. You will work with key stakeholders to develop freight estimates and execute the logistics plan for both domestic and international projects with an emphasis on controlling costs while meeting schedule, customer, and requirements Developing our business goes hand in hand with developing our people's skills, with the support of the Service Manager and team, you will be open to career progression and continued self-development in order to reach personal and business goals.

Responsibilities

• Assist in Shipping and Receiving.
• Read appropriate warehouse documentation to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed or shipped.
• Assist in preparing shipping and customs documents
• Move items to appropriate areas
• Record amounts of materials or items moved into computer database.
• Assist in conducting physical inventories and cycle counts
• Assist with maintaining inventory records by posting materials received and disbursed, writing shortage lists and distributing them as required
• Inspects and investigates damages or loss of materials and informs the supervisor
• Maintain the warehouse in a clean, orderly and safe manner
• Responsible for operating the warehouse machinery (Forklift, etc…) in a safe manner and reporting any equipment maintenance or problems to your immediate supervisor
• Perform other work related task as required as assigned such as delivery of materials to customers and follow up on custom clearance document
• Comply with all NOV Company and HSE procedures and policies

Experience/Education/Skill-set Required

Essential:

• Bachelors degree relevant subject i.e. Supply Chain, Finance, Business Management
• Minimum 2 years Warehouse Experience
• Good Computer and Microsoft Office knowledge is required
• Physically fit for the job
• Experience working on ERP system
  
  

Desirable

• 5+ years of relevant experience
• Relevant Certificates
• Oil and Gas, Manufacturing background
