Airswift would like to invite an experienced Construction Manager to consider a role with one of our clients in the oil and gas sector. Based on the EPCIC contractor’s onshore premises, the Construction Manager is primarily responsible for ensuring safety, quality, and successful execution of CPP/RP/WHP Packages in terms of onshore construction, and have key accountabilities as follows:
Responsibilities are but not limited to:
- To promote & comply with applicable safety instructions and other HSE procedures in all activities,
- To carry out work in compliance with the company’s values and policies, relevant laws and regulations, agreed priorities and objectives, standards and procedures and good industry practices,
- To assist Package Manager in mobilization, organization and management of the construction team required to carry out the work,
- To assist to define Work Time Schedule with objective to reduce the costs and optimize the duration and to ensure compliance up to Project Close-out,
- To actively participate in Detail Engineering phase meetings/workshops/reviews, such as Constructability workshops, HAZID, 3D Model reviews, Project Reviews, HSE and Quality audits, Risks identification and mitigation, etc.
- To follow up the construction progress, with analysis performance on daily basis,
- To review and verify EPCIC Contractor’s weekly construction report,
- To organise weekly an ad’ hoc construction meetings with Contractor/Sub-Contractors as required,
- To lead the Company resources allocated to the construction,
- To interface with Field Operations, other Projects, including greenfield / brownfield and tie-in works within the existing facilities,
- To assist the Interface Engineer in ensuring that all interfaces are adequately defined, monitored and managed,
- To act as Construction Site Representative during the onshore execution of the work by Contractor,
- To assist in close out preparation of all the stages from Detail Engineering, Construction, Pre-commissioning, Commissioning, performance tests completion, pre-settlement of any claims, execution of close out certificates including for warranty period commencement, transfer and archiving of final documentations and issuance of close out reports,
- To carry out any other duty or task that may be assigned by hierarchical superiors.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Qualification: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in engineering and construction,
- At least 15 years’ experience in the offshore oil & gas project with minimum 5 years’ experience as Construction / Hook-up Manager/Engineer,
- Experience within a project team: At least 10 years’ experience at senior level within large multinational taskforce team environment,
- Experience in offshore facilities at EPCIC stage, at construction yard.
- Available for technical missions worldwide,
- Computer literate,
- Strong leadership skills and good communication skills,
- Ability to work on projects in a complex and multicultural environment,
- Good analytical skills,
- H2S OPITO and T-BOSIET trainings.
