Regarding the role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Compliance Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be fluent in both French and English and will play a critical role in ensuring the company's compliance with all relevant regulations and laws.

Key Responsibilities:
Compliance Monitoring:
Monitor and enforce adherence to local and international compliance regulations and policies.
Review and interpret regulatory changes and assess their impact on the company.
Regulatory Reporting:
Ensure timely and accurate submission of regulatory reports, ensuring all compliance-related documentation is well-documented and up-to-date.
Risk Management:
Identify potential compliance risks and propose risk mitigation strategies.
Perform regular compliance assessments and audits across departments, ensuring the company adheres to relevant regulations.
Training and Guidance:
Conduct training sessions for employees in both French and English to ensure they understand compliance policies and procedures.
Provide ongoing guidance to various departments, helping them navigate compliance issues and regulations.
Policy Development and Implementation:
Assist in developing and implementing company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, regional, and international regulations.
Ensure that the policies are clearly communicated and adhered to by all employees.
Investigations and Reporting:
Lead investigations into compliance issues, conducting interviews and reviewing documentation.
Prepare detailed reports and recommendations based on investigations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Collaborate with internal teams such as HR, legal, finance, and operations to address compliance-related concerns.
Provide expert advice and solutions on complex compliance issues.
Continuous Improvement:
Stay current with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in compliance.
Continuously evaluate and improve the company’s compliance documentation to ensure its effectiveness and alignment with regulatory changes.

Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. Certification in compliance is a must.
Experience:
Minimum of 6 years of experience in a compliance role in a bilingual environment.
Experience in regulatory compliance, risk management, legal affairs.
Previous experience managing compliance in both French and English-speaking regions and/or international markets.
Language Skills:
Fluent in both French and English (written and verbal), with the ability to effectively communicate and interpret compliance-related materials in both languages.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong understanding of local and international compliance regulations.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to analyze complex compliance data.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and advise at all levels of the organization.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
