Currently, we are seeking for our future Accounts Receivable & Intercompany Officer. In this role, the successful candidate will Support administration of Credit & Collections, Account Receivable (OTC) activities and tasks to collect credit information, maintain records and collect overdue debts to minimize outstanding and achieve compliance in line with internal and external policies and standards, regulations and compliance requirements.
Position is based in Algiers
Your Main tasks will be:
- Following up DGF- OTC (Order To Cash) and customer categories.
- Receiving invoices from billing team.
- Preparation of bank documents related to the customer's payment (check remittances)
- Preparation of tax files and bank files for intercompany payments
- Follow up of the collections on bank statements on a weekly basis
- Updating delivery invoice date on the system tool
- Following up with the customers via (e-mail-call-visit-online meeting) and sharing SOA Statement Of Account and receiving payment details for allocation and reconciliation.
- Receiving feedback regarding the status of invoices (good to pay – dispute – not received – paid).
- Solving dispute invoices with internal Dept. (missing support of docs – rated not applied …ETC) – external (shipping lines- airlines – customs) and clear all issues to resubmit the invoice again.
- Allocating all credit transitions and sending update
- Targets (follow up OTC - monthly collections – avoid hit - solving dispute invoices). And building good communication and feedback with our customers.
- Customer creation (DDH template - RFI)
What we need from you:
- A university degree preferably in Finance
- From 2 to 3 years' experience in credit collection, finance support, treasury and accounting
- Having good knowledge about tax regulations and intercompany payments is an asset
- Very organized
- Excellent communication skills and ability to problem solving
- Good command of excel and good reporting skills
- Good tech skills
- Team player
- Ability to work under pressure and to respect the deadlines
- Good command of French, Arabic and English
