Job Description
The Electrical Field engineer will be reporting to the electrical supervisor. He will be responsible to carry out maintenance/ repair activities for all electrical parts in the desalination plant along with new installations/ modifications whenever required. He will also trouble shoot on electrical problems and perform maintenance, repair or replacement of parts to correct malfunctions,
Essential function and responsibilities:
to be able to trouble shoot and carry out the maintenance of the electrical equipment (MV transformers, MV BusDucts, VFD, Protection relays, UPS, …..)
Understanding the RO VFD Panels and Soft-starters by control drawings and learning.
To understand the Operational Interlocks on all electrical equipment without interrupting the production on day to day activities
Obey and maintain high EHS performance on the site accomplishments for all maintenance activities.
Optimized resource functions on Preparation of Quality inssurance & Quality control documents.
Bi-monthly maintenance activity reporting
Proceed with LV, MV & HV electrical devices electrical isolation for LOTO procedure.
Qualifications
Work experience:
Breadth/depth of experience required
Experience working with similar systems in a similar business environment
Minimum 5 years work experience is required on filed activity
At least 2 years maintenance work experience, preferably in water & wastewater treatment plant/ Desalination plant/ RO plant/ power/ petroleum/ chemical or any other continuous manufacturing process industry
Should knowledge in VFD panels and MCC‘s for troubleshooting and repairing.
Ability to work per priority, dealing with complexity and result driven.
Good communication skills.
