Company Description

The Aures School is an Algerian international school that aims to develop trilingual world citizens with a love of learning and personal effort. The school uses research-based teaching methods and the Universal Design for Learning framework to support the achievement of every student. Teachers at The Aures School are trilingual and 90% hold advanced degrees in scientific and language fields. We have two sites in Algiers- a Montessori-based preschool program in Hydra and a Primary, Middle and High School site in Birkhadem.

Role Description

We have two full-time, on-site roles for Assistant Teachers, part of our Teacher in Training program. Our Assistant Teachers receive on-the-job training while observing our international classroom teaching methods, and practicing our dynamic teaching approach under supervision from our teaching team. Assistant Teachers are first in line to assume teaching positions at the Aures School as they arise. Candidates should indicate a preference for our early childhood programs or for our primary, middle, and high school programs.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal communication skills
• License (Bachelors) degree - minimum, masters preferred
• Passion for working with students and supporting their growth
• Fluency in Arabic and English, with intermediate mastery of French
• Interest in learning how to support students with diverse learning profiles
