We are seeking an HR Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role is responsible for overseeing a wide range of human resources functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, compensation and benefits, and ensuring compliance with Algerian labor laws. This position works closely with management and staff to promote a productive, engaging, and legally compliant workplace.
Duties & Responsibilities / What You Will Do
- Lead and manage the full recruitment cycle for various positions, from sourcing candidates to conducting interviews and finalizing selections.
- Oversee the onboarding process to ensure seamless integration of new employees into the company.
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees regarding HR policies, processes, and best practices.
- Address employee grievances and conflicts promptly and effectively to maintain a positive work environment.
- Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives that foster a strong and collaborative company culture.
- Assist in designing and executing performance management programs, including goal setting, performance reviews, and constructive feedback sessions.
- Offer coaching and support to managers on performance improvement and employee development.
- Coordinate with the finance department on payroll matters and ensure strict compliance with labor laws and company policies.
- Assess training needs and collaborate with department heads to create tailored training programs.
- Organize and deliver training sessions to enhance skills and support career development.
- Ensure all HR practices adhere to Algerian labor laws and regulations.
- Manage employment contracts, terminations, and required documentation to meet legal and organizational standards.
- Stay informed about changes in labor legislation and HR best practices.
- Prepare HR reports and analyze workforce data to provide insights for continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications / This Job Might Be For You If You Have The Below
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of HR experience, preferably in Algeria.
- Strong understanding of Algerian labor laws and HR regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proven problem-solving abilities and experience managing sensitive HR issues.
- Proficiency in Arabic, French, and English.
