About the Role



Job Purpose
Contribution to the achievement of business results by assisting in effective business and financial planning, by ensuring that the management accounting and control systems are effective and efficient, and by participating in the development and implementation of strategic and operating plans.
Major Activities
1. Strategic Plan Activities
- Collect all financial numbers from relevant functional departments and analyze them according to the specific line (e.g. COGS, Marketing & Distribution costs and Function costs)
- Finalize and send the Budget/Strategic Plan numbers
2. Analyzing/Monitoring Financial Performance
- Analyze the actual financial performance compared to budget/LO e.g. Function Expenses, EBIT, MR and Marketing Contribution etc
- Provide feedback on Responsibility Centres’ performance vs. Budget/LO on a monthly basis to respective Function Heads
- Proactively monitor Risks and Opportunities and develop actions to mitigate risk
- Analyze the monthly productivity outcomes
- Identify new savings and resource allocation opportunities
3. Controlling Activities
- Manage the monthly expenses to review and control cost budget especially around A&P and Phase4 for responsible BF and communicate and follow up with BF and medical team key actions
- Review and manage life cycle tracking of local clinical trials with medical team as part of the budget and expense forecasting in line with LCM requirements
- Assist in implementing monthly, quarterly and yearly sales analysis system (by Brand/BU/Franchise) for measuring performance
4. Forecasting Activities
- Assist in Company’s forecasting activities through monthly forecasting (RF)
- Ensure forecasting accuracy by assisting to align figures in Future cast system along with Supply Chain Manager
5. Reporting Activities (Regional/ Local)
- Actively involve with the Financial Reporting Systems in Morocco and Tunisia
- Meet queries regarding financial activities, etc. as and when cascaded by Head BPA MEA
- Maintain an up to date statistics of sales, expenses, headcount, Management Result, EBIT, etc.
- Analyze and circulate monthly report of promotional expenses locally and meet queries
- Analyze and circulate sales performance during & after closing of each month
- Preparation of internal Management Reporting including Monthly Business Reviews (MBRs), Latest Outlooks, Risks and Opportunity Report, etc
- Ensure compliance with financial reporting guidelines
6. Others
- Prepares decks for Management members to be discussed in management meetings
- Ensures timely and accurate submission of provision from Pharma BU each month
- Maintain all BPA related SOPs;
- Provide financial education to the business units as necessary.

Role Requirements



Education :
Advanced studies in Finance, Economics or Business Administration/ MBA or CPA preferred.
Languages:
French & English is mandatory

- Strategic thinking, business awareness and market knowledge
- Interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to communicate and build effective relationships with senior management
