We are currently seeking for passionate and dynamic Maintenance professionals who pride themselves on their ability to deliver extraordinary levels of customer service and provide creative solutions to our guests.

As a Boiler Operator you are responsible to operate or maintain stationary engines, boilers and other mechanical equipment to provide utilities for buildings and / or industrial processes, whereby your role will include key responsibilities such as:

• Attend to boilers and equipment to supply and maintain steam or heat for buildings, marine vessels or operation of pneumatic tools
• Record test results on specified form and provide information to Superiors
• Test sample quality by using testing devices to ensure it meets specifications
• Operate, control and observe gauges to regulate heat and steam in order to ensure the machine is functionally properly
• Obtain samples from designated location on boiler and carry samples to testing laboratory
• Recognize, detect or assess problems through monitoring and reviewing information from materials, events or the environment
• Perform preventive maintenance and trouble shoot problems which can be resolved
• Suggest and recommend ideas for the improvement of maintenance and performance of the equipment

Skills

Education, Qualifications & Experiences

You should ideally be a licensed high / low pressure boiler operator with previous experiences in a similar role and a proven knowledge in the operation of equipments such as steam engines, generators, motors, turbines and / or steam boilers. A good command of English and the ability to find fault and rectify subsystems are essentials.
