THE ROLE AND YOUR IMPACT AT TIER
Take full ownership of TIER’s KSA E-Scooter and E-Bike business and drive public policy and business development to increase fleet size, rider base, rides, and revenue in a dynamic and highly competitive environment.
Public Policy related responsibilities:<br/><br/>Build up relationships with local authorities and government entities across KSA;
Remove regulatory hurdles, solve problems, and facilitate a rapidly growing business across KSA;
Playing an integral part of winning tenders (you will be a key member of the team responding to tenders and RFP’s in the KSA market. Your role in the team will be to bring a deep understanding of the local needs of the city, and guidance on how best to position TIER and what solutions to offer in TIER’s tender responses. Alongside Middle Easts’s General Manager and operations managers, you will be the voice representing the city’s interests, ensuring that TIER’s tender responses are localised and tailored to the unique dynamics and priorities of each city);
Building and executing policy related strategies (develop and execute public policy strategies to address regulatory or other public policy challenges and topics. Strategies built should be holistic, factoring in the contribution of all key policy levers, including media engagement and civil society partnerships, to achieve our policy and country goals. Play a key role in building tender win strategies, including any partnership or other strategies and approaches that will support TIER’s long term success and stability);
City outreach and relationship building (support the identification, engagement and management of stakeholders on municipal, political and national level, while building relationships that foster trust and long-term partnerships between TIER and our policy stakeholders consecutively deepening and broadening TIER’s network with public and private stakeholders - you will be the ‘ears of the ground’ for any upcoming risks or opportunities related to regulatory, policy, or tendering matters.<br/><br/>Business Development related responsibilities<br/><br/>Build relationships with Property Developers, Real Estate Asset Managers and Large Scale Events Companies to position the TIER fleet into their offerings.<br/><br/>Sponsorship Management related responsibilities:<br/><br/>Identify local and international brands and companies as potential sponsors for the TIER fleet;
Identify and communicate local product needs to product/engineering teams at TIER HQ;
Represent, with the management team, TIER in the community, local media, and in communication with key government stakeholders.<br/><br/>YOU’LL FIT GREAT WITH THESE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS<br/><br/>3-5+ years’ industry and / or relevant work experience in areas of public relations, public policy, governmental engagement, public affairs, consulting, city administration or civil service. Experience in public relations/ media affairs is a plus. Experience in industries regulated by public tenders is a plus;
Degree in International Relations, Public Policy, or Business Management. Master Degree / MBA is a plus;
Strong prioritisation and time management skills;
Excellent presentation and organisational skills;
Willingness to travel in KSA and internationally (30%);
Valid Driving License;
Fluent in Arabic and English (KSA National is a must);
Demonstrated success in consulting, business development, or commercial operations, ideally in a startup environment;
Data-driven & performance-oriented, you like to dig into figures to evaluate your business and structure your decisions;
Great team player and communicator. You have empathy as well as the ability to combine different perspectives and balance multiple priorities;
A strategic thinker who is able to build clear strategic objectives and roadmaps of how to deliver on those objectives;
