Job Summary
- The MEP Engineer (Electrical) is responsible for the design, installation and maintenance of all electrical systems within the assigned property to comply with electrical systems that meet project requirements ensuring all electrical works are done in a safe and efficient manner.
Job Responsibilities 1
- • Develops electrical systems for buildings and other construction projects, including lighting, power distribution, and communication systems.
- • Reviews electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and other technical drawings to ensure that designs meet project requirements and comply with applicable codes and standards.
- • Works closely with the manager and other cross-functional teams to ensure that electrical systems are installed and maintained in a safe and efficient manner.
- • Prepares and submits project specifications, cost estimates, and other documentation related to electrical systems.
- • Coordinates with architects, contractors, and other professionals to ensure that electrical systems are integrated with other building systems and meet project requirements.
Job Responsibilities 2
- • Monitors the installation and testing of electrical systems to ensure that they are installed correctly and comply with applicable codes and standards Troubleshoots electrical problems and provide technical assistance to other project team members as needed.
- • Ensures that all electrical systems are maintained in good working order and that preventive maintenance is conducted as necessary.
- • Keeps up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies related to electrical systems design and installation
Skills
Job Knowledge & Skills
- • Strong problem solving and analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical problems.
- • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in AutoCAD and other electrical design software.
- • Sound understanding of applicable codes and standards related to electrical systems design and installation.
Job Experience
- • Minimum 8 years of total experience.
- • Minimum 4 years of experience in Specialty/industry relevant (required).
- • Minimum 2 years in GCC (preferred).
