Position Head of Guest Services
Start Date: August 2019 New & Renovated Upscale Girls Dormitory, Amman, Jordan
• Near to University of Jordan 51 Rooms plus shared common spaces, kitchens, laundry, café, outdoor space and more!
Pre-Opening Tasks:
• Physical setup and assistance in staff training · Preparing for soft opening · Social Media Marketing, handling phone calls and reservations
Description:
• You will be responsible for providing an excellent and consistent level of service to all guests.
• Contribute to the smooth and efficient running of Reception and overall Residence Services
• Greet customers, determine nature and purpose of visit, and direct or escort guests to specific destinations.
• Operate cash registers and computers.
• Checks membership of residents and collects fees from visitors.
• Give subscription and membership applications for interested residents.
• Receive payments and record receipts for services.
• Resolves complaints from customers and public.
• Maintain high standards and suggest improvements.
Qualifications:
• A relevant degree/diploma in Hospitality or Tourism management.
• Minimum 2 years work experience in hotel operations.
• Good customer service, communication and interpersonal skills are a must.
• Professional and presentable appearance and attitude.
Languages:
• English fluency is essential + Arabic
