Role :
Act as first responsible for all IT Operations department in terms of strategy and planning, service assurance, incident management, change management, covered domains include CBIO, VAS, IT Support teams, Digital Apps, POS, CRM, SOA, IT Infrastructure, and eventually corporate IT services
Missions ;
Develop and execute the overall IT operations strategy, aligning with the organization's goals and objectives, focusing on customer centricity, cost effectiveness.
Drive innovation and efficiency in IT operations to enhance overall performance and contribute to the company's success.
Cascading to Senior managers the IT-OPS vision relying on Proactivity, Reactivity and Continuous enhancement.
- Budget and Resource Management:
Develop and manage the IT operations budget, ensuring optimal resource allocation.
Evaluate and recommend cost-effective technology solutions and services
Manage support contracts with technology vendors.
Operational Efficiency:
Identify opportunities to optimize IT processes and workflows to enhance operational efficiency.
Implement best practices for incident response, change management, and problem resolution.
Generalize the use of ticketing and SLAs with different solution providers.
Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity:
Develop and maintain comprehensive disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
Conduct regular testing and simulations to ensure preparedness for potential disruptions.
Act as E2E Incident Manager.
Lead and mentor a team of senior managers, response to their needs to achieve the objectives.
Foster a collaborative and results-oriented team culture, encouraging continuous learning and development.
Manage development and succession plans.
Ensure recruitment of right profile in right position.
- Infrastructure Management:
Validate with planning dept, the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure, ensuring scalability, security, and reliability.
Collaborate with engineering teams and technology vendors to evaluate and select hardware, software, and services.
Ensure IT operations comply with industry regulations, standards, and security policies.
Collaborate with security teams to implement and maintain robust cybersecurity measures.
Qualifications :
- Engineer diploma in Information Technology or electronics
- Good control of English language in addition to French
- 15+ years’ experience in IT and Telecom domain
- Background in Charging and billing, VAS, CRM and IT Infrastructure.
- Experience in IT operations management.
- Team management skills.
- Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
