Medical Brand Manager- Algeria



Danone MENA is seeking a highly dynamic Medical Brand Manager for the Beldina brands within its Specialized Nutrition division in the Middle East and North Africa, based in Algiers, Algeria.
As a Medical Brand Manager, you will play a key role in positioning and promoting Blédina to healthcare professionals in the MENA region. You will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies by proposing and executing specific action plans targeting the medical sector, with the aim of increasing the prescription of our products. You will work closely with internal teams, healthcare professionals, and institutional partners to strengthen our market presence.

About the role:



1. Business context:



Understanding the target audience: Consolidate insights into consumer needs and healthcare professionals' expectations across the region, identify the challenges related to brand positioning among healthcare professionals, and co-create the brand's healthcare professional strategy with the Senior Brand Manager.
Execution of Medical Marketing Strategy: Propose and develop targeted marketing action plans for healthcare professionals based on the analysis of identified needs, expectations, and challenges, including the development of communication campaigns and innovative concepts.
Medical Content: Collaborate with internal and external medical experts to develop educational content, clinical studies, and training tools for healthcare professionals, as well as provide promotional campaigns with supporting arguments.
Medical Events: Guide the brand's participation in medical events, conferences, and symposiums to showcase our products and share relevant information.
Medical Monitoring: Stay updated on medical trends, scientific advancements, competitor actions, and applicable regulations to adapt strategies accordingly.
Medical Data Analysis: Utilize data to evaluate the impact of marketing initiatives on prescriptions and adjust tactics accordingly.
International Coordination: Collaborate with international teams to align medical strategies with the brand's global objectives.

To succeed in this role, you should ideally have:



Education and professional experience:



- University degree in health sciences and marketing.
- Experience in medical marketing, preferably in the infant nutrition or pediatric healthcare sector.
- Knowledge of medical practices, medical delegation issues, and communication to healthcare professionals.
- Understanding of marketing and its business implications.
- Experience in consumer communication through digital channels.
- Basic understanding of medical marketing is a plus.

Algiers, Algeria.

Required languages:



Fluency in English and French.

Mobility:



Candidates should be willing to travel within the region or outside the region with Danone in the next 3 to 4 years if such an opportunity arises and contributes to their professional development.
